Your audio stays on your device
MusicDNA analyzes audio locally in your browser. There is no account, no tracking, and no upload step. When you analyze a track, the file is decoded with the Web Audio API directly on your device, and the features that drive the visualizations are computed there. The audio file itself is not uploaded.
Comparison history
If you use the compare feature, your recent comparisons are stored only on this device.
Information you send to us
Two features transmit information to the server only when you actively choose to use them:
- Contact form: submitting the form sends the email address and message you enter to the server so we can reply.
- Newsletter: subscribing sends the email address you enter to the server so we can add you to the list.
If you do not submit these forms, no such information is sent.
